O. Exodon - EEGG

Post by Bogwoodbruce on Tue Dec 30, 2008 12:40 pm

Giant gourami have always been a favourte of mine i have kept a grey standard one, an albino and am currently keeping the redfin species. Ive always wanted a o. exodon the elephant ear giant gourami or vampire gg. Ive never bought one due to price and availablity. And pier have got some in.

I saw them and i thought those arent ordinary GG. So i had a word with Niel the owner of the shop, and his knowledge is just amazing. Hes good friends with the bloke who got em in and these are the real deal!

He said that when young they show redfins and have a black spot; a trait which o. goramy doesnt have. This little fella reminds me of a young redfin but the body shape is wrong.

This is gonna make a great fish! Sorry for the poor pix enjoy and comment!

Bruce, it's a redtail, sorry but that's my gut feeling, I hope I'm wrong. The blurred spot on the tail is a give away, An Exodon's spot blends to nothing, RTGG blurs out and spreads
